Before I had a prayer request for my mother to leave her toxic relationship and for her to close on a home for her to live in and both of those prayers have been answered! Praise God!

Two years ago. I accepted a fellowship role with the institution I am working with. 2 months into the fellowship, a permanent position opened up. I applied for it. I was told by management that it was a bit early for me to transition since the fellowship was being funded by a 3rd party institution. I was hopeful that another opportunity would pop up even if it’s with a different institution. The fellowship was for only a year and subject to renewal for an additional year conditional on availability of funding. So it was a very uncertain situation. By God’s grace, I received a renewal for an additional year. In January this year, there was another opening in the institution for a permanent role. I applied again and went through the interview. After the panel interview in February, I was informed that they were moving forward with someone who has “more years of experience”. I was devastated and disappointed. I resolved to look at other options in other places. 5 days after we started the 40 days journey, my manager called me to say that they have decided to give me the permanent role 🥳🥳🥳 It sounded unreal until it was announced at our Staff meeting. I want to thank God for this unexpected miracle! When I least expected, He showed up and made a way!
I received Jesus Christ into my life when I was in SHS. One day, I fell very sick. I felt extremely cold and had to cover myself with 2 cloths and a blanket. That evening, the Holy Spirit spoke to my heart and said, “Why don’t you pray and see what the Lord will do?” I began to pray and praise God. Before I knew it, I started sweating heavily. I removed all the coverings because the cold had completely left my body. I was healed. I shared the testimony with my pastor, but he told me it was not a gift of healing and that it was just a fluke. Although I became born again, I did not take the experience seriously afterward. About two years later, I became seriously ill again and was admitted to the hospital for a week. The doctors could not figure out what was wrong with me. One evening, I woke up in the ward and everyone around me was asleep. Again, the Holy Spirit prompted me to pray. In my heart I said, “Even if it was a fluke, it happened before, and it can happen again.” I prayed, and the Lord healed me. The next day, I was discharged from the hospital. Eighteen years later, on Wednesday 6th May, the devotion for the day was “Gifted for Kingdom Impact.” During prayers, we prayed for the reactivation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit and asked God to restore the gifts we had neglected or misused. The following morning at about 1:30am, while waiting for my ride to Accra, I was struggling with irritable bowel syndrome. For days, I had had running stomach anytime I ate or drank anything, even water. The Holy Spirit spoke to me again: “Pray and see what the Lord can do.” I began praying and singing in tongues. Though I was in an air-conditioned room, I started sweating all over. Suddenly, the pain in my stomach disappeared and I felt warmth in my stomach. I removed the diaper I was wearing for the journey, drank water, and did not visit the washroom until I arrived at my destination. Since then, my visits to the washroom have reduced drastically. I give God all the glory.
